In order to install the paper wallpaper correctly, it is important that the substrate is well prepared. Here is a step-by-step guide to preparing the substrate:

Cleaning:

Make sure the wall is clean, dry and free of dust, dirt and grease. Use a mild soapy solution to clean the wall if necessary.

Smooth surface:

The surface must be even and smooth. If there are holes, cracks or unevenness, these must be repaired with a putty compound. After troweling, the surface must be lightly sanded so that it becomes completely smooth.

Priming:

It is important to prime the wall, especially if it is highly absorbent (eg new plaster) or has uneven absorbency (eg patch repairs). Use a suitable wall primer, which creates a uniform absorbency and improves the adhesion of the wallpaper.

Wall with old wallpaper:

Remove old wallpaper completely. Use a wallpaper steamer or wallpaper dissolver to loosen and remove any residue. Then sand and clean the wall thoroughly.

Glossy surfaces:

If the wall is painted with a glossy paint, it should be lightly sanded to provide better adhesion for the wallpaper glue. Alternatively, a primer specially designed for glossy surfaces can be used.

Checking the surface:

Check that the wall is completely dry before applying wallpaper. The wall must also be uniform in color to avoid transparency of any stains or color differences through the paper wallpaper.

Wallpaper glue::

We use Beck & Jørgensen's B&J 308 Adhesive Extra. Other types of glue for the wallpaper can also be used. Carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing and applying the adhesive.

By default we ship via GLS or deliver in person, where we reserve the right to choose which shipping provider is most appropriate. The price of our freight is based on weight. Depending on the size and quantity of the order, delivery options will appear when ordering that are specific to your order as a customer. The various delivery options look like this:

Delivery to parcel shop 1-5 working days - DKK 59.

Delivery to home address 1-5 working days - DKK 69.

Delivery to business customers 1-5 working days - DKK 79

Orders over DKK 2000 and collection of all other orders are free.
